I have had the good fortune of working with some fantastic talent. They have resulted in lasting relationships which go much beyond work. I believe that collaboration and personal bonds hold teams together to deliver their best work.
Fun Team @ Capillary
I nurtured a multidisciplinary team of 1 user researcher, 5 interaction designers, and 3 visual designers who helped build a consistent design language across all five products. This was the liveliest team with strong interpersonal relationships and a collaborative spirit.
Remote Team @ Airmeet
It was a challenge to manage a remote team of 21 designers during the Covid pandemic. The biggest challenge was to keep up the motivation and the mood alive. The weekly Jazz Hands was a virtual get-together on Fridays evenings to encourage informal talk.

We encouraged teams to travel every six months to be together and overcome the loneliness of working from home. It encouraged bonhomie and better understanding between team members.
